Job Description
Substation Design Project Coordinator for Leidos supporting project management in Power Delivery Solutions. Organizing technical documents and managing deliverables in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist technical teams in the organization and coordination of technical documents and drawings
- Manage upload and transfer of deliverables and submittals
- Assist with document control, including upload and acquisition of files while maintaining credentials for Customer access
- Assist with tasks to support proposals for new business
- Develop and track proposals and data
- Assist project management teams in planning, organizing, and managing various projects, providing detailed data to support decision-making
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using established computer platforms
- Track milestones, deliverables, and resource assignments
- Set up and manage project collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePoint sites
- Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports for internal and client review
- Facilitate meetings by preparing agendas, taking meeting minutes, and tracking action items to ensure follow-up and completion
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field with 0-2+ years of relevant experience is preferred
- An Associate’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or a related field with 2-4+ years of relevant experience will be considered
- HS Diploma with 5+ years of directly relevant experience will be considered
- Previous experience in an administrative, project coordinating or related position in an engineering or other technical setting
- Familiarity with the electric utility industry is highly desirable; Candidates with previous experience working directly at an electric utility or in a consulting environment for electric utilities are highly preferred
