Job Description

DevOps Engineer III building scalable AWS infrastructure and delivery pipelines for mPulse's healthcare conversational AI platform. Managing production systems, security, compliance, and on-call operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support development and implementation of the company's DevOps strategy
  • Collaborate with development, product, operations, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to deliver software quickly and reliably
  • Design and deploy scalable, highly available AWS infrastructure using Nomad, Consul, Vault, and Terraform
  • Integrate engineering work into the company's DevOps pipeline
  • Manage the GitHub source code repository and enforce code review and branching best practices
  • Monitor production system health and performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours support and critical incident response
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to meet industry standards and regulations
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to DevOps Engineers I and II
  • Respond to assigned bugs and hotfixes
  • Complete and release production code
  • Contribute to technical discussions and technical project success

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with DevOps practices, tools, and technologies, including continuous integration, deployment, and delivery
  • Understanding of cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS
  • Experience deploying and managing infrastructure using GitHub Actions, Nomad, Consul, Vault, and Terraform
  • Experience managing GitHub source code repositories and following code review and branching best practices
  • Understanding of Linux/Unix systems
  • Experience with shell and Python scripting
  • Experience monitoring and troubleshooting production systems
  • Experience with security and compliance in a DevOps environment
  • Understanding of industry standards and regulations
  • Experience with healthcare data is beneficial
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to stand and sit for an extended period of time
