Job Description
DevOps Engineer optimizing AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Terraform for ATU, Germany’s largest automotive workshop chain. Hybrid work in Weiden.
Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, with a focus on EKS, ECR, RDS, SQS, MKS, and SES
- Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitLab and ArgoCD
- Monitor and analyze systems with Datadog
- Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
- Work closely with development teams to ensure and improve application operations
- Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues
- Implement best practices for security, scalability, and performance in the cloud environment
- Plan and execute cloud migrations and new projects
Requirements:
- Completed vocational training in IT or a degree in IT, ideally specializing in DevOps, systems administration, or computer science
- Demonstrable experience in DevOps
- In-depth understanding of CI/CD processes
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab, and ArgoCD
- Experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS
- Understanding of scalability, availability, and security requirements in modern systems environments
