Job Description
DevOps Engineer für stabile, sichere Plattformen bei Evosec, einem Entwickler von Softwarelösungen für den automobilen Aftersales. Automatisierung, CI/CD, Containerbetrieb und Observability.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the stable, secure, and high-performing operation of the platform together with Development, IT, and external operations partners
- Further develop build, test, and deployment processes
- Automate recurring workflows
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines
- Operate and support containerized applications based on Docker and Kubernetes
- Implement and further develop monitoring, logging, and alerting
- Analyze technical incidents and troubleshoot distributed applications
- Develop sustainable solutions to improve availability, performance, and resilience
Requirements:
- Experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud environments
- Strong knowledge of Linux, as well as Docker, Kubernetes, or comparable container platforms
- Strong understanding of modern system architectures
- Ability to design and operate scalable, highly available (HA) infrastructures
- Proficiency with Git and building CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform and Ansible
- Solid understanding of APIs, routing, and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and structured troubleshooting
- Analytical, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to work
- Confident communication skills in German and English
- Knowledge of Jenkins or Nexus, as well as RabbitMQ, identity management, or IT security, is an advantage
