Job Description
DevOps Engineer optimizing AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes, monitoring, and CI/CD for BetterMe’s all-in-one well-being ecosystem. Improving resilience, security, and automation for services empowering millions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure and resources with attention to cost and resilience
- Enhance technical monitoring and alerting to ensure availability and performance of critical services
- Automate repetitive tasks to reduce manual intervention and optimize resource utilization
- Explore new technologies and tools that can improve team efficiency
- Improve CI/CD practices and secrets management across the company in alignment with security best practices and compliance regulations
- Participate in on-call rotations one week per month
Requirements:
- 2+ years of DevOps experience
- Expertise managing cloud-based infrastructure, including AWS or other cloud platforms
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/K8s, Docker, Helm, and similar containerization/orchestration technologies
- Strong skills configuring and managing monitoring systems such as Prometheus and Grafana
- Managed Elastic APM experience is a big plus
- Proficiency building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions or similar tools
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex infrastructure challenges
- Proactive mindset and business-oriented problem-solving approach
- Familiarity with large-scale, distributed systems is a plus
