Job Description
Senior DevOps Engineer building OptiPlay’s cloud-native platform from scratch. Owning AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, observability, and secure infrastructure strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Build the entire AWS cloud infrastructure from scratch using automation-first, high-availability, and security-by-design principles;
- Design and operate Kubernetes environments and maintain custom Helm charts;
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using modular Terraform structures;
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps delivery workflows;
- Build secure networking architecture including VPC, VPN, WAF, firewalls, and ingress controllers;
- Set up monitoring, logging, alerting, and tracing with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Tempo;
- Deploy and maintain infrastructure for PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis, and RabbitMQ;
- Define solutions for container registry and artifact management;
- Ensure system scalability, reliability, observability, and security;
- Participate in architectural discussions and influence OptiPlay’s platform engineering strategy.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Platform Engineering;
- AWS production experience: VPC, VPN, WAF, firewalls, multi-environment setups, networking fundamentals;
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes internals, Helm, and container runtime ecosystem;
- Terraform modular IaC design, reusable infrastructure patterns, and infrastructure from scratch;
- CI/CD and GitOps experience with GitLab CI, ArgoCD, and automated deployment workflows;
- Monitoring and observability experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, or similar;
- Experience with PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis, and RabbitMQ;
- Networking and proxying experience with NGINX, HAProxy, Traefik, and ingress controllers;
- Automation and scripting experience with Bash, Python, or similar;
- Artifact management experience with modern registries such as ECR, Harbor, or Nexus;
- Experience designing infrastructure for high-load, distributed, real-time systems.
