Job Description

Engineering Manager leading Platform & Cloud Operations for Creatio’s AI CRM platform. Managing four teams responsible for CI, cloud reliability, release upgrades, and internal developer tooling.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Creatio's Platform & Cloud Operations domain, consisting of 17 engineers across four teams
  • Own CI systems and development environments
  • Own automation behind the cloud environment hosting product servers and customer instances
  • Own the upgrade pipeline through which releases reach customers
  • Own internal tooling that improves engineering team productivity
  • Own delivery timelines and timeline trade-offs across the domain
  • Partner with product and engineering leadership on scope and priorities
  • Own ways of working across four teams with different operating models
  • Be accountable for domain architecture and critical architectural decisions alongside Architects
  • Own the technical debt strategy
  • Step into complex and critical technical problems
  • Assess release quality readiness and block releases when warranted by quality risk
  • Own post-release quality analysis and operational health of the customer cloud
  • Oversee incident ownership, on-call practice, and post-outage discipline
  • Manage performance, 1-on-1s, development plans, and onboarding for 17 engineers
  • Manage workload, capacity, and resource allocation
  • Make hiring and exit decisions, provide compensation recommendations, and build the Team Lead bench
  • Coach Team Leads on leadership and systems thinking

Requirements:

  • Experience managing software engineering teams, including working through Team Leads
  • Strong engineering background in platform, infrastructure, or cloud operations
  • Experience with CI/CD systems, infrastructure as code, cloud architecture, observability, and release engineering
  • Experience running production infrastructure under availability commitments
  • Experience with incident management, on-call practice, and post-incident follow-through
  • Proven ability to drive delivery, engineering quality, and organizational effectiveness across more than one team
  • Comfort making timeline trade-offs under pressure and defending them with data
  • Experience partnering with Product, Architecture, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, communication, and people management skills
  • Ability to make pragmatic decisions and operate effectively in fast-paced environments
  • Upper-Intermediate or higher English level
  • Nice to have: experience with large-scale customer upgrade or migration programs in a multi-tenant SaaS environment
  • Nice to have: experience building internal developer platforms
  • Nice to have: working knowledge of .NET
  • Nice to have: experience with AI-powered products or AI-assisted engineering workflows
