Job Description
Director overseeing virtual behavioral healthcare operations for Array Behavioral Care, a telepsychiatry and therapy provider. Managing partners, budgets, P&L, clinician capacity, and cross-functional service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations and management of services to ensure efficient service delivery and optimal business performance
- Drive provider and partner transitions and manage new and existing provider and partner relationships
- Support management of a large portfolio of partners by collaborating with account management teams and partners to understand and deliver program needs
- Oversee Array’s service delivery for efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to align business operations with high-value patient care
- Own the business P&L
- Evaluate and implement strategies to improve operational efficiencies, business processes, services, and interdepartmental connections
- Prepare, manage, and regularly report on annual budgets for active accounts, including revenue, COGS, and expenses
- Lead department people operations, including employee and team development, performance initiatives, coaching, feedback, retention, and team culture
- Monitor clinician capacity and determine needs for internal licenses and privileges or external recruitment
- Collaborate with department heads across sales, recruitment, marketing, medical affairs, quality, compliance, IT, and product management
- Own KPIs and manage dashboards
- Document assignments in Salesforce for utilization management, implementation adherence, and general fulfillment
- Lead weekly staffing, implementation, and operational governance meetings
- Report to the Chief Operations Officer
- Travel occasionally for annual leadership retreats and team meetings
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in healthcare operations, including at least 3 years in leadership roles
- Experience overseeing at least $20M in revenue across multi-site operations
- Comprehensive knowledge of behavioral health business and industry concepts and principles
- Experience with CHCs, FQHCs, CMHCs, or scheduling/staffing preferred
- Telehealth experience strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for communicating with clinicians, customers, and administrative and operations teams
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proven experience building and implementing short- and long-term strategic plans
- Experience in cross-functional leadership and collaboration across departments
- Strong understanding of financial and operational management principles, including P&L management and balancing costs with high-value patient care delivery
- Strong project management skills, including planning, executing, and closing projects on time and within budget
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines across fast-paced multi-site operations
- High computer literacy with relevant healthcare and administrative software
- Must be legally eligible for employment in the United States
- Must reside in the United States if employed
