Job Description

Director leading professional education and sales training for Edwards Lifesciences, a global structural heart innovation company. Managing TMTT case support, talent development, compliance, and cross-functional implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the strategic implementation and optimization of TMTT EU case support to ensure optimal patient outcomes and avoid procedural complications
  • Manage and oversee a team, including plan development and financial budget responsibilities aligned with business needs
  • Develop a robust talent development plan aligned with departmental functional growth strategies
  • Drive implementation and optimization of case support, including imaging expertise, case coordination, and proctor guidance
  • Assess programs and develop processes for continuous improvement and achievement of targeted objectives
  • Ensure Health Care Professionals adhere to Edwards processes, SOPs, and relevant procedures
  • Prepare and follow up on required audits
  • Support therapy development activities within the region
  • Develop and integrate metrics into projects and operations to demonstrate the value of training to the business
  • Lead briefings and technical meetings for internal and external representatives
  • Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams implementing global enterprise systems and related solutions
  • Develop relationships and leverage them to influence change
  • Support and solicit input from team members at all levels
  • Adhere to company rules and requirements, Environmental Health & Safety rules, injury prevention, environmental protection, and pollution prevention measures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field required, or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria
  • Master's Degree or equivalent in a related field preferred
  • Strong clinical background or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria
  • Demonstrated track record in people management required
  • Proven successful project management leadership skills
  • Experience working in the healthcare industry preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools and systems
  • Expert understanding of procedures, training theory, regulatory, compliance, and related requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to develop Key Opinion Leader relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to manage one or more teams and provide coaching and feedback, including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on employee relations
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical, critical-thinking, written and verbal communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
  • Ability to develop and integrate project and operational metrics
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, constantly changing environment
  • Ability to interact professionally with organizational levels and senior stakeholders
  • Ability to lead briefings and technical meetings
  • Ability to influence change and gain acceptance in sensitive situations
  • Dedicated to quality client service and responsiveness
