Job Description

Director of IT Product Lead managing product portfolio and cross-functional teams in a global pharmaceutical company. Overseeing product strategy, collaboration, and continuous improvement in health solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of the IT Group Product Director, responsible for product portfolio and group
  • Collaborate with business resources to continuously evaluate the value delivered by products
  • Establish product plans, technical roadmaps, and long-term strategies
  • Manage a cross-functional team with a general understanding of product design and agile practices
  • Maintain service costing and resources budgets for products
  • Interface with customers regarding product offerings and on-boarding processes
  • Partner with IT and business leaders to identify opportunities based on business needs
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps
  • Benchmark and manage IT metrics established for the product team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Preferably 7 or more years in Information Technology in progressive levels of responsibility and leadership
  • High level understanding of several components of IT such as Product Management, Technical Architecture, Business Analysis, Testing or Operations and Support
  • Prior experience within Supply Chain - required
  • Supply Chain demand forecasting, risk management - highly desired
  • 3 or more years of budgetary responsibility preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, including the ability to respond well under pressure
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate across organizations to optimize outcomes
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of product management methodology
  • Understanding of basic SAFe Agile principles and methodology
  • Ability to prioritize work load and consistently meet commitments
  • Ability to work across multiple groups within IT to ensure end to end performance
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, must be comfortable working continually on a team with daily accountability for keeping commitments
  • Excellent written and oral communication, listening and presentation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of business operations
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to use good judgment in conveying status and problem escalation
  • Provides coaching and mentoring to team members
  • Knowledge of the cost basis for the service
