Job Description
Director of Product leading Veracity’s regulated insurance platform rebuild and migration. Guiding technology that launches insurance products, serves customers, and operates the business.
Responsibilities:
- Set the platform product vision and roadmap, connecting business priorities to clear, achievable plans
- Own ongoing platform improvement using adoption, reliability, delivery speed, and business results to guide priorities
- Simplify workflows and expand shared capabilities to make launching and managing insurance products easier
- Lead the rebuild and migration of existing products and workflows while supporting ongoing business operations
- Partner with Engineering to build reliable, adaptable systems and evaluate when to build, buy, or improve technology
- Align platform capabilities with the needs of Engineering, Program Management, Product Marketing, and Operations
- Understand customer and operational needs and turn them into useful platform capabilities
- Lead and develop a small team of product managers while participating in discovery, major decisions, and delivery
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
Requirements:
- 7+ years of product management experience
- At least 2–3 years in a product leadership or senior IC role
- Direct experience building and managing complex, regulated business systems in production, with clear examples of your role and outcomes driven
- Strong product management experience, including setting direction, prioritizing competing needs, and delivering complex initiatives
- Experience modernizing or replacing existing systems and managing the transition for users and the business
- Experience leading and coaching product managers, with willingness to work directly through difficult problems
- Ability to collaborate with engineers and business leaders, explain tradeoffs clearly, and make decisions with incomplete information
- Experience working in a regulated industry where data integrity, audit readiness, and compliance obligations shape system configuration
- Preferred: direct experience building and managing insurance systems in production, including quoting, rating, policy administration, billing, or servicing
- Preferred: deep understanding of insurance workflows and agency management systems supporting the full policy lifecycle
- Preferred: experience across insurance distribution models including MGA, wholesale brokerage, retail agency, or InsurTech
