Job Description
VP of Sales closing energy storage and power infrastructure deals for Energy Vault. Managing utilities, IPPs, industrial accounts, and strategic pipeline growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage key accounts and respond to customer inquiries
- Present Energy Vault’s products and services and devise solutions that create value for clients
- Manage customer expectations and deliverables throughout the sales cycle
- Negotiate deals from proposal submittal to contract signing
- Conduct detailed due diligence on public RFPs and recommend whether to pursue opportunities
- Manage and grow a pipeline using established CRM processes
- Represent Energy Vault in customer meetings and industry events
- Follow up with stakeholders to close deals
- Collaborate with commercial, engineering, project execution, and operations professionals
- Deliver revenue, MWh sold, EaaS contracted capacity, and Data Centre pipeline development KPIs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred; higher degrees are a bonus
- 10+ years of sales experience in the energy storage and generation industry
- Career focus on energy storage sales to utilities, independent power producers, and/or large industrial customers
- Excellent customer negotiation skills
- Proven track record formulating win-win proposals and closing large deals
- Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally, up to 40%
- Comfortable thriving in fast-paced, rapid growth environments
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check
