Job Description
Sales Director leading Account Executives selling tourism technology solutions. Driving revenue, strategic accounts, and quota performance for Granicus’s government-focused digital platform business.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a high-performing team of Account Executives selling technology solutions to tourism-sector customers
- Drive revenue growth, expand wallet share, and deepen tourism-sector relationships
- Deliver financial results through accurate forecasting, budget planning, and proactive variance management
- Develop and retain sales talent while fostering accountability, coaching, and continuous improvement
- Contribute market insights to strategic planning and implement scalable sales systems and processes
- Set sales objectives and quotas aligned with organizational priorities
- Execute strategic account planning and contribute to vertical marketing efforts
- Build relationships with key tourism-industry stakeholders
- Identify platform opportunities and surface customer needs and competitive trends to influence product strategy
- Develop expertise and share insights across the organization
- Meet and exceed quarterly quota targets
Requirements:
- Experience managing teams and coaching them through complex $100K+ deals
- Knowledge of the tourism technology landscape
- Proven leadership experience managing teams
- Experience with account planning, quota setting, and pipeline management
- Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and corrective actions
- Data-driven sales operations approach, including trend analysis, process improvement, and change implementation
- Ability to expand relationships, identify new opportunities, and influence product direction
- Ability to continuously learn and share industry insights
- Ability to meet and exceed quarterly quota targets
- Responsibility for preserving the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company information assets
- Responsibility for ensuring employee and customer data privacy and completing required privacy training
