Job Description
Director managing specialty pharmacy operations and enhancing patient access for biopharmaceutical firm. Collaborating across teams and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Directing, monitoring, and enhancing specialty pharmacy operations within Madrigal’s Market Access and Trade team
- Managing dispensing operations across the channel to drive continuous improvement in patient access and adherence
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders including MPS, Marketing, Data Analytics, Medical Affairs, Finance, Pricing & Contracting, Regulatory, Legal, and Market Access field team
- Engaging external stakeholders in day-to-day program operations and analysis of key data and KPIs
- Developing and implementing operational structures to support Madrigal’s specialty pharmacy network strategy
- Overseeing brand planning initiatives, operational plans, project budgets, expenses, and timelines
- Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of Adverse Events received through SP network
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Business or Pharmacy preferred
- 12-15+ years of related experience in the biopharma industry with high performance in leadership roles
- 7 - 10 years of healthcare industry customer/vendor management experience strongly preferred
- 5+ years of experience operationalizing specialty pharmacy programs and networks required
- Ability to develop insights from data trends to improve program performance
- Experience with pre-launch drugs and new product launches preferred
- Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team and in an environment of rapid change
- Excellent written, organizational, verbal, presentation, and communication skills a must
- Proficient in MS Office products including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
