Job Description

Drupal developer redesigning a homepage and improving Solr site search. Managing CMS content, accessibility, security, and website troubleshooting for a remote web project.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete a specific scope of work related to a home page redesign and improvements to site search capabilities
  • Manage and update website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements, using Drupal as the CMS
  • Place website content while ensuring consistency, accuracy, appropriateness, timeliness, and compliance with graphic and accessibility standards
  • Communicate and implement service-related links to County departments and Federal, State, and Local agencies
  • Ensure website security by updating software, plugins, and themes; implementing security protocols; and monitoring vulnerabilities
  • Troubleshoot website functionality, server configuration, and user access issues
  • Collaborate with IT support and external vendors as needed

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages and frameworks
  • Proficiency with Drupal search engine technologies, including Solr
  • Experience with front-end development using the Drupal platform and web hosting environments
  • Knowledge of website security best practices, including SSL/TLS8 encryption, firewalls, and malware detection/prevention
  • Knowledge of WCAG accessibility compliance
  • Ability to communicate and implement service-related links to County departments and Federal, State, and Local agencies
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday in the MST time zone
  • Availability for 15–40 hours per week
