Job Description
Customer support representative for Dutch speakers handling inquiries in the fintech sector. Remote role applicable only for residents in Portugal.
Responsibilities:
- Omnichannel Communication: Resolving inbound inquiries efficiently via phone calls, emails, and real-time live chat systems.
- Intricate Problem Solving: Analyzing complex, sensitive user concerns regarding profile security, transaction gateway errors, and detailed billing statements.
- Platform Guidance: Instructing users on how to navigate our global payment processing gateway and mobile applications with clear, authoritative directions.
- Financial Protection: Managing highly sensitive fiscal tasks—such as processing chargebacks, correcting invoice errors, and identifying fraudulent activity—with strict discretion and accuracy.
- Information Logging: Building accurate records of all client interactions and escalating critical financial files to specialized internal departments.
- Regulatory Updates: Participating in routine team meetings to stay aligned with software upgrades and changing international banking rules.
Requirements:
- Dutch: Native or near-native mastery (C1 level minimum) in both written and spoken formats.
- English: Solid command of business proficiency (B2 level minimum) for internal company alignment and training updates.
- Work Rights: Current physical residency in Portugal and valid, unrestricted legal authorization to work in the EU.
- Self-Discipline: Exceptional organizational skills and the personal accountability required to thrive in an independent, virtual work environment.
