Job Description
Technical Architect designing scalable, middleware-based solutions for Argano, a digital consultancy. Leading architecture practices, client discussions, complex implementations, and technical teams.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in establishing an Argano Technical Architecture practice and adopting an architecture and standards methodology
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Define and document technical architecture for client projects, aligned with best practices and industry standards
- Research and evaluate technologies to enhance application performance and scalability
- Lead technical discussions with clients and internal stakeholders
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership to development and technical teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects successfully
- Develop and migrate information-system technologies and functionality; identify innovation and automation opportunities
- Coordinate and provide leadership for project planning, analysis, design, and development of complex mission-critical implementations
- Recommend technical architecture and middleware for client situations and present solutions to C-level staff
- Maintain approved designs and clearly document and communicate enhancements using version-control management
- Research workarounds and design extensions or custom solutions when standard solutions cannot meet requirements
- Work with business users to test complete processes after development and resolve reported issues
- Ensure coding standards, development best practices, version control, and production-migration instructions follow Argano standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, Software Engineering or a related field
- 5-10 years of experience in software development and architecture
- Proven track record of designing and implementing complex technical solutions
- Experience in client-facing roles, with a focus on understanding and meeting client needs
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, architecture, and best practices
- Understanding of various technology stacks, platforms, and frameworks
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages and the ability to understand and write code
- Proven experience in defining and designing technical architectures for client engagements
- Ability to create comprehensive architectural documentation and diagrams
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical challenges
- Ability to collaborate with clients to understand their technical requirements and challenges
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively
- Ability to assist in project planning, resource allocation, and timeline management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
