Job Description
EDS Migration Developer building Adobe Experience Manager web experiences for Orion Innovation. Migrating websites and developing high-performance, accessible front-end components.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain websites and components using AEM Edge Delivery Services (EDS)
- Build and customize EDS blocks/components based on business and design requirements
- Work with EDS project boilerplate and content pipeline
- Support AEM/EDS migration projects, including migration of existing web experiences to EDS
- Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performing web experiences using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Leverage AI-based development tools and approaches to accelerate EDS implementation and development
- Optimize web pages for Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse scores, performance, and scalability
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, architects, content teams, and other developers
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and EDS-related issues
- Follow coding standards, Git-based development practices, and established CI/CD processes
- Perform cross-browser testing and resolve UI compatibility issues
- Implement responsive and mobile-first designs across devices and browsers
- Work with design systems, component libraries, and design handoff tools
- Translate designs into high-quality front-end experiences
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Front-End / Web Development experience
- Hands-on experience with AEM Edge Delivery Services (EDS) (preferred)
- Experience in EDS block/component development
- Understanding of EDS project boilerplate and content pipeline
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript
- Experience with AI-assisted / AI-based EDS implementations
- Good understanding of Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse, and front-end performance optimization
- Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows
- Exposure to AEM/EDS migration projects (highly preferred)
- Experience with Flexbox, CSS Grid, animations, and responsive design
- Experience with mobile-first development
- Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing
- Knowledge of WCAG and web accessibility standards
- Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, and design handoff tools
- Experience with build tools and CI/CD workflows
- Experience working in Agile development environments (good to have)
