Job Description
Product auditor planning and conducting audits of fire protection and security products for VdS, a global security-services institution. Worldwide manufacturer visits with optional home office or mobile work after probation.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, conduct, and perform the preparation and follow-up of on-site product audits at manufacturers from the company’s customer base
- Monitor the manufacturing of fire protection and security technology products
- Regular worldwide travel to manufacturers as part of the field-based role
- Participate in a six- to twelve-month onboarding and training program, depending on prior qualifications
Requirements:
- University degree in one of the fields listed above, or comparable training with a technician’s or master craftsperson’s qualification
- Willingness to travel worldwide on a regular basis as part of the field-based role (approximately 60%)
- Experience in manufacturing, electrical engineering, and mechanics
- Experience auditing products and/or management systems is desirable
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and an independent, team-oriented approach to work
- Excellent written and spoken German
- Very good command of English
- Ideally, qualification as a Quality Management Representative and/or Quality Management Auditor
- Practical experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Teams, and Access
