Job Description
Email & SMS Marketing Manager at Valatam driving retention marketing programs. Autonomous role requiring strategy, execution, and performance analysis of campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage proactive monthly/quarterly campaign calendars aligned with business objectives.
- End-to-end management of email and SMS campaigns—from drafting compelling copy and designing assets (without relying on external design teams) to final deployment.
- Build, monitor, and optimize high-converting automated flows (Welcome sequences, post-purchase, browse abandonment, win-back, and retention flows).
- Perform deep-dive audience segmentation to improve deliverability, open rates, and list health.
- Monitor key performance indicators (Revenue attribution, CTR, conversion rates, etc.) and conduct A/B testing to iterate on subject lines, content, and send times.
- Manage email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and other regulations.
- Maintain SOPs for recurring processes to ensure scalability and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- English (C1/C2) and Spanish.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Email Marketing.
- Expert-level proficiency in at least one major marketing automation platform (Klaviyo is preferred; experience with OmniSend, Postscript, or Attentive is highly valued).
- Quiet home office, stable internet (≥ 10 Mbps down / 2 Mbps up), and backup connection.
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.
