Job Description
Seasonal representative processing employer-group and employee health-plan enrollments for eHealth. Managing inbox requests, benefit changes, recertifications, and enrollment systems.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage a shared inbox, reviewing and responding to requests from employer groups
- Process employee terminations, coverage additions or cancellations, and other benefit changes
- Determine whether requests can be handled directly or routed to another department
- Complete enrollment and benefit-related tasks through online portals and systems
- Send and manage recertifications and maintain accurate documentation
- Review detailed paperwork and information while following procedures and carrier requirements
- Assist existing team members while learning processes, systems, and responsibilities
- Demonstrate eHealth’s values in behaviors, practices, and decisions
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or college coursework preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in health plan enrollment, healthcare administration, insurance operations, or a related field
- Experience working with enrollment or health insurance systems
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive member information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Salesforce experience is a plus but not required
- Working knowledge of Medicare and/or ACA enrollment guidelines preferred
- Organized, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
