Job Description
Part-time Engineering Technician at CHA Consulting supporting bridge projects through field data collection and analysis. Collaborating with a technical team in a flexible remote environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the review, tracking, and analysis of field-collected data for bridge-related projects
- Assist in testing and evaluating materials, equipment, and system performance to ensure quality and reliability
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain detailed project records and documentation
- Identify discrepancies or inconsistencies in data and help maintain organized databases for reporting to clients
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior experience required; prior field exposure or relevant coursework preferred
- Knowledge of basic mathematics and formulas
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Exposure to tools such as GIS software, AutoCAD, or Revit is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to various physical work environments
- Valid driver’s license required
