Job Description
Oracle and PeopleSoft ERP consultant supporting public-sector agencies. Planning functional workstreams, testing, conversion, cutover, and proposal support.
Responsibilities:
- Support Oracle or PeopleSoft ERP pursuits and, when awarded, the related functional workstreams
- Cover finance, HCM, payroll, procurement, or grants modules actually delivered
- Plan configuration, testing, conversion, and cutover from the legacy system
- Document interfaces to other agency systems and data-cleaning requirements
- Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to proposals when naming is authorized
- Support agency user testing and go-live readiness
- Identify module or version limits before proposals treat them as in scope
Requirements:
- Hands-on Oracle Cloud, Oracle E-Business Suite, or PeopleSoft delivery as a functional lead or senior consultant
- Depth in at least one of finance, HCM, payroll, procurement, or grants
- Experience with testing, conversion, and cutover
- Able to name the product and version delivered, not a generic ERP claim
- Comfortable as a 1099 project-based collaborator, with occasional client travel
- Public-sector Oracle or PeopleSoft work for a city, county, state, school system, or university (nice to have)
- Experience migrating PeopleSoft to Oracle Cloud (nice to have)
