Job Description
Gestionnaire de sinistres RC/DAB chez Sedgwick, administrateur de sinistres d’assurance. Gestion autonome des dossiers, responsabilités et indemnisations depuis Nanterre, Caen ou Rennes.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and register claim notifications
- Independently manage claims from opening through closure, including subrogation and recovery actions
- Review the supporting documentation provided in the file and the applicable policy coverage
- Determine liability
- Process indemnity claims and ensure they are followed up within the required deadlines
- Liaise with brokers and industry professionals to complete the file
- Process payments to the insured
Requirements:
- Minimum two-year post-secondary qualification in insurance or law
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a Claims Handler, particularly in Liability and Property Damage
- Proficiency in the IRSI and CIDECOP agreements and general civil law principles
- Good knowledge of insurance products
- Ability to work independently and strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in IT tools
- Strong written communication skills
- Well-organized, with good interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach
- Knowledge of Legal Protection insurance is a plus
- English proficiency is an advantage
