Job Description
Field Service Engineer responsible for installation and servicing of laundry pump systems in care homes. Position involves travel across Surrey with customer-facing responsibilities providing expert service and support.
Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and maintain laundry dosing and pump systems across care home sites
- Diagnose and repair basic electrical and mechanical faults
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive support
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety standards and company policies
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring minimum disruption in care environments
- Maintain accurate records of all service and installation activities
- Work closely with the wider Blueleaf customer support teams
Requirements:
- Electrically competent (basic knowledge of circuits, fault-finding, and safety)
- Familiar with pumps, dosing systems, or mechanical equipment (desirable but not essential)
- Able to travel across the Surrey region, with occasional overnight stays if required
- Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Electrical/electromechanical background or qualification (preferred)
- Previous experience in a service/field engineer role (desirable but not essential)
