Job Description
Field Service Engineer providing efficient support for BD Pyxis Dispensing products. Responsible for installations, repairs, and maintenance in healthcare settings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive remote and on-site technical support for BD Pyxis automated dispensing systems
- Diagnose, service, and resolve hardware and software issues
- Implement and execute preventive maintenance programs for all BD Pyxis systems
- Deliver efficient field services including installations, repairs, calibrations, and training to healthcare customers
- Maintain accurate small parts inventory for service needs
- Properly secure and maintain company assets in optimal working condition
- Commit to ongoing training and self-development to enhance product knowledge and technical skills
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Healthcare Technology or other technical field, or 3-5 years of related work experience
- Provide 24/7 on-call technical support in a customer-facing environment
- Advanced mechanical and computer skills to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex equipment
- In-depth knowledge of computer electronics, Windows operating systems, and networking protocols
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds
- Maintain a valid driver's license in good standing
- Provide proof of comprehensive immunizations: Hepatitis B, Influenza, MMR, Varicella, TB/PPD, Tdap, COVID-19
