Job Description
Field technician maintaining, repairing, and installing dental equipment for Benco Dental, the largest privately owned U.S. dental distributor. Training dental staff and customers while traveling daily to customer sites.
Responsibilities:
- Provide maintenance and repair services out in the field
- Train staff on using equipment
- Train customers on using equipment
- Provide hands-on support and solutions to customers beyond repairs and maintenance
- Travel frequently to customer sites, daily
- Use power tools occasionally
- Support Benco Dental’s mission to drive dentistry forward
Requirements:
- Computer proficiency, including knowledge of Windows-based programs
- Organizational skills
- Problem solving skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Mechanical or technical experience/education, or relevant electrical, customer service, military, software/hardware, pneumatics, or HVAC experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (Required)
- Able to perform routine walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, reaching, and twisting
- Must frequently lift/lower/carry/push/pull 1 to 55 pounds and occasionally 56 to 100 pounds
- Routine pushing, pulling, grasping, and manual dexterity using hands, arms, and shoulders
- Able to work in tight spaces
- Frequent daily travel to customer sites
- Technical training in the bio-medical or electronics field (Preferred)
- Occasional use of power tools
