Job Description

Field Service Technician maintaining and repairing clean-fuel vehicle systems for Hexagon Agility. Troubleshooting CNG/LNG equipment while traveling nationwide to customer locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow company and customer safety policies, quality and production procedures
  • Provide exceptional customer service and technical support of products
  • Manage installs, removal, modification, repair, maintenance, testing, and inspection tasks
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical or technical problems and determine solutions
  • Respond to service requests and provide technical service and maintenance support at assigned customer locations
  • Travel to end users, dealerships, OEMs, and company facilities nationwide
  • Work safely with high-pressure systems up to 5,000 psi
  • Lead field service repair teams during recalls and campaigns
  • Represent the point of contact at customer locations, help drive service sales, and build relationships
  • Evaluate situations, determine how to proceed, and keep customers informed of repair progress and status
  • Communicate with customers and staff across multiple departments
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Agility’s products and other makes
  • Complete and submit paperwork, digital forms, and reports
  • Maintain current knowledge of applicable local and national codes
  • Capture Voice of Customer data to improve products and processes
  • Manage vehicle and onboard inventory organization, audits, and transport tasks
  • Assist with shipping parts from assigned mobile inventory to customers

Requirements:

  • SAE automotive certification or equivalent technical training is a plus
  • 2+ years of work experience on Hexagon Agility, CCFT (Momentum), A1 Alt Fuels and/or other natural gas vehicle fuel systems
  • Fluent in both English and French preferred
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to solve problems
  • Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and written
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Proficient working with Concur, IFS, Freshdesk and Microsoft Teams is a plus
  • Computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must provide your own tools
  • Must have experience/ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Must have experience/ability to read and understand electrical schematics
  • Must have a valid driver license and clean criminal background/driving record
  • Experience/ability to bend stainless steel tubing and replicate hard lines in the field
  • Ability to safely depressurize and defuel CNG and LNG fuel systems
  • Cummins Insite, BlueiQ, Swagelok, forklift, fall protection, LO/TO training certificates
  • NGVi (AFVi) or CSA tank inspector and Hexagon tank certifications
  • Experience conducting CNG tank repairs and proper condemnation
  • Ability to work unsupervised in remote locations for extended overnight periods
  • Ability to travel up to 100% and leave on short notice
