Job Description

Field Specialist repairing and installing Philips IGT medical systems across Baden-Württemberg. Diagnosing technical, IT, and network issues while supporting customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently perform repairs and installations, including remote repairs and Field Change Orders
  • Analyze faults across systems and identify solutions while considering clinical, technical, and commercial aspects
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through professional communication, proactive escalation management, collaboration with internal and external partners, and guidance for colleagues
  • Provide technical training during installations
  • Coordinate small projects, such as relocations and upgrades
  • Independently resolve IT and network issues
  • Support Sales and Project Management with technical questions
  • Provide relevant information and support customers as part of maintenance activities
  • Fully document all activities in accordance with Philips quality standards
  • Report safety-related deficiencies and comply with relevant processes
  • Act as a Medical Devices Advisor in accordance with Section 31 of the German Medical Devices Act (MPG)
  • Communicate with regulatory authorities, such as regional medical associations

Requirements:

  • Field service experience, relevant knowledge of medical technology, and basic medical knowledge
  • Excellent internal and external communication skills, a confident manner, reliability, and professional commitment
  • Customer management skills, assertiveness, and professional escalation management
  • Cross-functional collaboration and strong teamwork skills
  • High flexibility, willingness to travel extensively and work across regions (>70%), including weekend work and 24/7 on-call availability
  • Sound IT and networking knowledge
  • Good MS Office skills and strong documentation abilities
  • Experience in a radiology environment and expertise in radiation protection
