Job Description
Food Service Worker preparing food, espresso drinks, and cashier service for Aramark’s Morino Grill. Supporting visitors at Denali National Park’s only dining option.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service in a fast-casual setting
- Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and park dining options
- Ensure guest satisfaction through quick, accurate service and a positive attitude
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches, burgers, salads, and grab-and-go items
- Make coffee and espresso beverages according to recipes and standards
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and proper presentation
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures
- Operate the cash register for purchases, returns, and adjustments
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments responsibly
- Maintain payment accuracy during high-volume rush periods
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces, dining areas, kitchen, and service counter
- Restock utensils, condiments, beverages, packaged goods, and supplies
- Assist with dishwashing, trash removal, and end-of-day cleaning
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely service
- Communicate needs, issues, and guest concerns to supervisors
- Contribute to a positive, supportive team culture
Requirements:
- Prior experience in food service, cashiering, coffee preparation, or customer service preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills and ability to operate a POS system
- Ability to follow recipes, safety guidelines, and sanitation standards
- Minimum age of 21 preferred due to occasional handling of alcohol or related responsibilities
- Ability to live and work in a remote location for the duration of the season
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. for stocking and prep tasks
- Ability to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
