Job Description
Foreclosure specialist preparing filings, client updates, and attorney support for Padgett Law Group. Serving institutional clients through its creditors’ rights legal practice.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and prepare assignments, motions, affidavits, and other legal documents
- Respond to a heavy volume of email correspondence in a timely, courteous, and thorough manner
- Develop and maintain relationships with business associates and clients
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients
- Support attorneys in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment
- Prepare and file status updates before scheduled hearings
- Provide regular and timely client status updates
- Follow up on outstanding documents and services
- Review expired Notices of Default and communicate with clients to obtain updated figures
- Monitor executed client declarations
- File client declarations with the court
Requirements:
- Experience with client systems such as LPS, Tempo, Vendorscape and others is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with borrowers, clients, attorneys, internal employees, and outside parties
- Ability to work with others in a congenial and team-oriented manner
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to continual change
- Attention to detail
- High-level proficiency in MS Office suite
- Proficiency in internet research activities
- Good understanding of the legal process surrounding foreclosure is preferred
- Prolonged time sitting at a desk typing, using, and looking at a computer
- Full-time employee status
