Job Description
Front End Engineer building SalonBiz’s Angular-based beauty-industry SaaS products for EverCommerce. Improving frontend software, delivery pipelines, and customer outcomes in an agile team.
Responsibilities:
- Build and improve core SalonBiz products across Angular, JavaScript and PL/SQL, with a stronger frontend focus
- Deliver high-quality, secure software while balancing new features, bug fixes and technical improvements
- Work in an agile, iterative way, breaking larger initiatives into smaller releases and experiments
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including release pipelines, monitoring, feature flagging and deployments
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Product Design and QA
- Contribute to technical planning and continuously improve software delivery practices
- Participate in the on-call rotation when required
Requirements:
- 4+ years’ software engineering experience working in agile teams
- Strong hands-on Angular and JavaScript experience; Angular is essential
- Strong understanding of agile, DevOps and modern delivery practices, including iterative delivery, feature flagging and partial deployments
- Collaborative approach to working across Product and Engineering
- Strong communication skills and ability to make technical concepts easy to understand
- Experience with collaborative programming, coaching and mentoring other engineers
- Experience with React or other modern frontend frameworks is a bonus
- Must be eligible to work without sponsorship in the United States
