Job Description

Full Stack Developer modernizing secure federal web platforms for Xcelerate Solutions. Building React/.NET applications, APIs, databases, and DevSecOps pipelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain responsive, intuitive, accessible UIs with React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and state management patterns
  • Develop and maintain secure RESTful APIs, business logic layers, and services using C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
  • Implement web architecture patterns, SSO authentication, and content management integration
  • Integrate workflow enhancements and assistive logic for customer requests and reporting workflows
  • Design and optimize Microsoft SQL Server schemas, tables, indexes, views, and stored procedures
  • Use Entity Framework Core or similar ORM frameworks for data access
  • Develop automated data extraction and reporting for dashboards, KPI tracking, and analysis
  • Support data modeling, integrity verification, and database refactoring
  • Migrate applications and databases from on-premises data centers to cloud-native managed services
  • Participate in Git-based CI/CD build, test, and deployment pipelines using tools such as GitLab and Azure DevOps
  • Deploy updates across development, QA, staging, and production environments
  • Provide Tier II and Tier III application and database engineering support
  • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end automated tests using Automation-First and TDD practices
  • Ensure compliance with Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA
  • Conduct peer code reviews and maintain technical documentation
  • Implement OWASP- and ASD STIG-aligned secure coding practices
  • Remediate vulnerabilities found by SAST and SCA tools
  • Support RMF activities, ATO evidence, POA&Ms, and security hardening

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline; equivalent professional experience may be considered
  • Minimum 5+ years of professional full-stack software development experience across the complete SDLC
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing SPAs and modern web components using React.js and TypeScript/JavaScript
  • 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying backend services and RESTful APIs using C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
  • Strong working knowledge of relational database design, query optimization, and stored procedures using Microsoft SQL Server
  • Practical experience with Entity Framework Core or similar ORM frameworks
  • Experience with Git, collaborative branching strategies, and issue tracking tools such as Jira and GitLab
  • Solid understanding of Section 508 / WCAG accessibility requirements
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
  • Ability to work productively within an Agile/Scrum team and communicate technical concepts clearly
  • Active DoD 8570.01-M / DoD 8140 IAT Level II baseline certification or higher is required
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Public Trust or favorably adjudicated Secret Clearance at start
