Job Description
Senior full-stack developer building web and mobile applications at Goji Labs. Developing Node.js and TypeScript services alongside React and React Native interfaces.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications using React.js and React Native
- Implement server-side logic using Node.js and TypeScript
- Manage data interchange between servers and users
- Develop API interfaces with RESTful and GraphQL services
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks and bugs
- Uphold code quality, organization, and automation best practices
- Enhance existing features and create new ones for the company's applications
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define product roadmaps and milestones
- Participate in code reviews and maintain strong engineering standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or the ability to demonstrate equivalent expertise in modern development practices and system architecture
- 6+ years of full-stack development experience
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript
- Extensive experience building user interfaces with React.js and React Native
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and understanding of modern frontend development practices
- Experience with modern state management and data-fetching solutions, particularly TanStack Query
- Knowledge of RESTful API integration and GraphQL
- Strong understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first principles
- Experience with modern frontend build tools and bundlers such as Vite, esbuild, Turbopack, and SWC
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and Tailwind CSS
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and ability to implement unit and integration tests
- Proficiency with Git
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Preferred: prior React Native mobile application development, React Native ecosystem and tooling including Expo, Metro, and Babel, PostgreSQL, mobile-specific best practices, design systems, component libraries, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Agile/Scrum, software development studio or agency experience, and leadership or technical ownership experience
