Job Description
Full Stack Developer modernizing IRS legacy tax systems for T-Rex Solutions and the Federal government. Building scalable Java and React applications across the full software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Support the IRS EDOS program
- Help modernize IRS legacy tax processing systems
- Build high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications using modern Java and React technologies
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from concept and design through testing and deployment
- Work on mission-critical applications as part of a talented software team
- Contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative, and agile environment
- Design, integrate, secure, and deploy advanced technical solutions for Federal government customers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in process and 2+ years of overall experience
- US Citizenship required
- Must possess an active IRS MBI Clearance and have current GFE
- Strong proficiency in Java, including a solid understanding of Java design patterns
- Extensive experience with the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA
- Strong programming knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS
- Experience translating graphic designs into responsive user interfaces using HTML and CSS
- Experience building APIs that enable communication between the front and back ends
- Experience with server-side technologies such as Java, Node.js, and Python
- Experience with cloud services (AWS)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, OpenShift)
- Well-versed in DevOps tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, AppScan, Nexus IQ, GitHub, and GitHub Actions
- Experience working on an Agile team and a strong understanding of agile methodologies
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with client stakeholders at all organizational and technical levels
