Job Description

Full Stack Developer modernizing IRS legacy tax systems for T-Rex Solutions and the Federal government. Building scalable Java and React applications across the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the IRS EDOS program
  • Help modernize IRS legacy tax processing systems
  • Build high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications using modern Java and React technologies
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle from concept and design through testing and deployment
  • Work on mission-critical applications as part of a talented software team
  • Contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative, and agile environment
  • Design, integrate, secure, and deploy advanced technical solutions for Federal government customers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in process and 2+ years of overall experience
  • US Citizenship required
  • Must possess an active IRS MBI Clearance and have current GFE
  • Strong proficiency in Java, including a solid understanding of Java design patterns
  • Extensive experience with the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA
  • Strong programming knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS
  • Experience translating graphic designs into responsive user interfaces using HTML and CSS
  • Experience building APIs that enable communication between the front and back ends
  • Experience with server-side technologies such as Java, Node.js, and Python
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS)
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, OpenShift)
  • Well-versed in DevOps tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, AppScan, Nexus IQ, GitHub, and GitHub Actions
  • Experience working on an Agile team and a strong understanding of agile methodologies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with client stakeholders at all organizational and technical levels
