Job Description

Full Stack Developer leading cloud-based, AI-enabled enterprise platforms at an engineering services company. Designing architectures, APIs, distributed systems, and infrastructure while mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable cloud-based software platforms supporting data-intensive and AI-enabled applications.
  • Drive architecture decisions, technical strategy, and software engineering best practices across complex enterprise systems.
  • Build and optimize secure, reliable, and high-performance backend services, APIs, and distributed applications.
  • Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Lead code reviews, establish development standards, and promote software quality, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Develop cloud-native solutions using modern infrastructure, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code technologies.
  • Design and implement integrations with external systems, platforms, and data sources.
  • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements when handling sensitive data.
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across multiple projects and teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement focused on system reliability, operational excellence, and engineering efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of software development experience building enterprise-scale applications and platforms.
  • Strong experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with Java, TypeScript, or other modern programming languages.
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable software architectures and distributed systems.
  • Strong understanding of API development, system integrations, and microservices architectures.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform.
  • Knowledge of software security, data privacy, and compliance best practices.
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and highly regulated environments preferred.
  • AWS Solutions Architect certification or similar cloud certification preferred.
  • Experience within healthcare, life sciences, medical technology, or other regulated industries preferred.
  • Excellent communication, technical leadership, problem-solving, and mentoring abilities.
  • Must be available to collaborate with teams across multiple U.S. time zones.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening as a condition of hire.
