Job Description
Full Stack Software Engineer building scalable Go backend services and Angular applications for Del Oro Consulting, a national technology consulting provider. Designing databases, APIs, microservices, and automated tests.
Responsibilities:
- Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Go/Golang
- Build responsive and user-friendly web applications using Angular
- Develop reusable Angular components and UI modules
- Integrate Angular applications with RESTful backend APIs
- Design and optimize databases using PostgreSQL and MySQL
- Develop complex SQL queries, database schemas, indexes, and data models
- Develop and maintain microservices and REST APIs
- Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0/JWT
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
- Troubleshoot application and production issues
- Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards and best practices
- Work with DevOps teams on CI/CD, deployments, monitoring, and production support
- Collaborate with architects, product managers, QA, and other engineering teams
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in full stack software development or a related software engineering role
- Professional experience developing backend applications and services using Go/Golang
- Experience developing web applications using Angular
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL, including database design and SQL development
- Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed application development
- Experience with authentication and authorization concepts, preferably OAuth 2.0 and/or JWT
- Experience writing automated tests, including unit and integration testing
- Familiarity with Git and standard software development practices
- Experience working with CI/CD processes and supporting software through deployment and production
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, QA, DevOps, product, and architecture teams
- Preferred: Experience working with both PostgreSQL and MySQL
- Preferred: Experience with end-to-end testing
- Preferred: Experience working in a microservices-based environment
- Preferred: Familiarity with cloud environments and modern DevOps practices
