Job Description

Full-stack engineer supporting Lyric’s healthcare decision-intelligence platform. Building C#/.NET services, web applications, APIs, and durable production fixes.

Responsibilities:

  • Own escalated, high-impact production and customer issues from intake through resolution, including triage, severity assessment, reproduction, containment, mitigation, root-cause analysis, and follow-up
  • Investigate issues across the full application stack using logs, traces, metrics, application code, API behavior, browser and service diagnostics, and database queries
  • Translate customer symptoms into testable hypotheses, technical findings, actionable next steps, and timely stakeholder or customer updates
  • Operate safely in production by following runbooks, least-privilege practices, change controls, and escalation procedures
  • Produce root-cause analyses and contribute to improvements in time-to-mitigation and time-to-resolution
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain platform capabilities across web interfaces, backend APIs, microservices, integrations, and data-access layers
  • Build frontend experiences with JavaScript or TypeScript and Angular or React
  • Develop and debug backend services using C# and .NET
  • Create, optimize, and maintain data structures, SQL queries, and data flows
  • Integrate external services and APIs
  • Implement durable production fixes, improved error handling, validation, logging, automated recovery, and monitoring
  • Monitor platform health and improve observability through dashboards, alerts, logs, traces, and metrics
  • Create and maintain runbooks, technical documentation, and knowledge articles
  • Participate in the production support and incident response rotation
  • Implement secure development practices supporting privacy, HIPAA, and HITRUST expectations
  • Write tested, maintainable code; participate in code reviews; and follow source control, CI/CD, deployment, and change-management standards
  • Partner with product managers, data analysts, support teams, engineers, and other stakeholders
  • Resolve technical challenges independently and escalate broader architecture, risk, or business decisions when needed
  • File defect reports with reproduction steps, evidence, impact, and suspected components, collaborating through closure

Requirements:

  • At least two (2) years of professional full-stack software engineering experience building, supporting, and maintaining production applications
  • Hands-on experience developing and debugging backend applications or services using C# and .NET
  • Hands-on experience building web applications using JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern frontend framework such as Angular or React
  • Experience designing, consuming, and troubleshooting RESTful APIs, services, or microservices
  • 2+ years’ experience working with relational databases and SQL, including investigative queries, data validation, and basic performance awareness
  • Experience troubleshooting production issues using application logs, metrics, traces, debugging tools, and disciplined root-cause analysis
  • Experience working with at least one major cloud platform such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
  • 2+ years of experience working in a software development environment involving principles, design patterns, testing, security, scalability, and maintainability
  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
