Job Description
GenAI Engineer building enterprise GenAI orchestration, routing, and reusable skills. Developing production services with Python or TypeScript, AWS, Bedrock, and AgentCore for a biotechnology client.
Responsibilities:
- Build an enterprise GenAI application layer focused on orchestration, capability discovery, and reusable skills
- Implement intent routing, agent chaining, tool/skill management, and structured response generation
- Use existing agents and data services
- Build and deploy GenAI services
Requirements:
- Strong Python or TypeScript backend engineering experience
- Production experience with agent orchestration, tool calling, workflow routing, and multi-agent chaining
- Strong API and schema design skills, including structured JSON input/output contracts
- Experience combining user intent, conversation history, screen context, and filters into downstream agent requests
- Experience transforming agent results into narratives, tables, charts, citations, and consistent response payloads
- Hands-on experience building and deploying GenAI services using AWS, Amazon Bedrock, and AgentCore
- Ability to independently deliver tested, production-ready code with minimal guidance
- Preferred: Capability registries, agent/tool catalogs, workflow skills, or discovery services
- Preferred: MCP and API-first GenAI applications
- Preferred: Analytics applications built on semantic-layer or data-query agents
