Job Description

Specialist GP delivering remote Telehealth consultations for Abby Health, Australia’s online primary care clinic. Providing acute, chronic, mental, and sexual health care with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide same-day online primary care through Abby Health’s Telehealth platform
  • Care for diverse patients with everyday acute presentations, chronic disease, mental health, and sexual health needs
  • Manage care from new diagnosis through prescription, pathology requests, specialist referrals, and preventative care
  • Serve patients who struggle to access in-person care and may rely on Abby as their ongoing point of care
  • Follow strict medical guidelines and deliver high-quality, evidence-based care
  • Use structured patient histories and smart intake tools to focus time on clinical decision-making
  • Work with autonomy over schedule and patient load
  • Collaborate with a peer group of Specialist GPs

Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA Specialist Registration in General Practice
  • FRACGP or FACRRM Fellowship
  • Currently practicing as a Specialist GP
  • Comfortable working across a fully digital Telehealth platform
  • Able to commit a minimum of 8 hours per month
  • Ability to provide care across acute presentations, chronic disease, mental health, and sexual health
  • Ability to follow strict medical guidelines and deliver evidence-based care
