Job Description
Security Architect designing Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid security architectures for base-IT’s SME and enterprise customers. Leading security roadmaps, workshops, migrations, and technical standards.
Responsibilities:
- Review the architecture of existing Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid environments
- Develop and take ownership of target security architectures for customer environments
- Create security roadmaps, including prioritization, effort estimation, and implementation planning
- Conduct technical customer workshops
- Provide on-the-job training and mentoring for consultants and engineers
- Define technical standards and KPIs
- Plan migrations
- Assume technical responsibility for projects
- Ensure the quality of designs and implementations
- Serve as the technical escalation point for complex issues
- Develop new security services
Requirements:
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Cybersecurity, or Information Security
- Alternatively, several years of relevant professional experience combined with appropriate certifications
- Strong sense of responsibility and a precise, structured, and self-directed approach to work
- Team player with excellent communication skills and a strong customer and solutions focus
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently
- Strong customer-facing skills
- Willingness to travel throughout Austria
