Job Description

Graphic Designer for Protect Life Michigan's Marketing Team, focusing on branding, online presence, and event marketing. Collaborating with the marketing director on visual content and strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Director of Marketing through the development and execution of consistent branding for Protect Life Michigan posts, emails, brochures, handouts, website, and event branding in language and appearance.
  • Ensure brand identity and message consistency across channels.
  • Assist the Social Media Manager in designing social media posts, captions, and/or video creation/editing.
  • Research relevant media trends and apply them to Protect Life Michigan's marketing content and strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Community Engagement and Executive Director to design the Annual Report each spring.
  • Assist the Director of Marketing with regular event marketing design projects for events such as the Life Advocate Intensive, March for Life, Summer Internship Program, and Student Celebration.

Requirements:

  • Commitment to the pro-life movement and the mission of Protect Life Michigan.
  • Ability to commit to the position for at least one year.
  • Excellent graphic design skills and a creative eye.
  • Positive view of support-raising and/or fundraising.
  • Proficient in professional and creative writing.
  • A positive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to organize effectively.
  • Flexible work schedule, and the ability to occasionally work nights/weekends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Applications, Canva, Mailchimp, popular social media platforms, graphic design, and Adobe Publisher (preferred).
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and productively.
