Job Description
Graphic Designer developing visual designs for information technology solutions for Federal government. Collaborating with teams and clients, providing artistic advice and enhancing customer missions.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering information technology solutions to the Federal government in Agile Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Critical Infrastructure Protection
- Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen customer missions
- Provide technical and/or artistic advice about visual information
- Create visual designs for various media formats including web and print
- Communicate directly with clients for design feedback
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Graphic Design experience with evidence of some formal training in the field
- Strong layout publication and graphics design skills
- Adobe Creative Cloud – Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and PowerPoint experience
- Experience in Lightform Creator, Aquia Widen Hub, Brightcove, digital asset management systems
- Experience with Tableau; ability to create dynamic/interactive maps from a data source
- Experience with video production, web content, and social media
- Knowledge of both traditional and digital formats (including 3-D)
- Confident in the ability to provide technical and/or artistic advice to staff about visual information
- Experienced creating wireframe mockups of new content for external sites
- Demonstrates flexibility and ability to pivot creative direction with ease
- Ability to work directly with clients, especially agency leadership
- Strong communication skills

- Strong understanding of design principles and branding
- Skilled with document layout, promotional graphics, and infographics
- Illustration skill is a plus
- Knowledge of Drupal a plus
- Still photography and photo editing skills are a plus
