Job Description
Group Product Manager owning money movement reliability, controls, and AI-driven remediation at Coinbase. Leading cross-functional standards across fiat, crypto, payments, ledgers, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Own the multi-year vision and strategy for money movement reliability and controls across fiat and crypto
- Define service levels and resolution targets for every fund flow
- Build controls infrastructure governing money movement and verify controls before funds move
- Drive real-time detection and end-to-end tracing across payment rails, blockchain networks, controls, and the ledger
- Scale correctness through AI agents that propose controls, triage alerts, and remediate within governed limits
- Partner with Compliance, Risk, Finance, and product groups to establish control ownership and accountability
Requirements:
- 10+ years of product management experience
- Deep expertise in money movement, payments infrastructure, ledgering, or financial platforms at scale
- Track record owning strategy for large-scale money movement or financial systems, including payment processing, transfers, ledgers, reconciliation, or reliability layers
- Deep technical fluency in distributed systems, event streaming, idempotency, double-entry ledgering, reconciliation, and preventive and detective controls
- Demonstrated ability to set standards across organizational boundaries in a highly regulated environment
- Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight
- Must be based in the USA
