Job Description
Social Media Intern promoting IndieKidz’s AI-powered children’s-book platform Occibo. Creating videos, explaining product features, and growing engagement across social channels.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, film, and edit short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts
- Present Occibo on camera through product demos, tutorials, feature explainers, and behind-the-scenes content
- Turn product features into simple, engaging stories for authors, parents, teachers, and illustrators
- Create and schedule posts, Reels, and Stories according to a content calendar
- Write captions, short texts, and copy for social media, newsletters, and the website
- Maintain and organise content across channels to keep the brand consistent
- Follow social media and children's publishing trends and adapt them for Occibo
- Track content performance and use results to improve content
- Engage with the online community and respond to comments and messages
Requirements:
- Student or recent graduate looking for a mandatory or voluntary internship
- Comfortable and confident speaking on camera
- Basic video shooting and editing skills (a smartphone is enough)
- Familiarity with tools like CapCut, Canva, or Adobe Premiere
- A good sense for what works on social media and for visual storytelling
- Strong written and spoken English
- Proactive, creative, and able to work independently in a remote team
- A portfolio, social media account, or a few sample videos you have made; personal projects count
- CV and a link to a portfolio or content examples when applying
