Job Description

Remote Oregon Health Insurance Agent helping U.S. customers understand, select, and enroll in health plans. Handling consultative sales, documentation, follow-ups, and compliant customer support.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls with potential and existing customers interested in health insurance plans
  • Conduct needs assessments to understand clients' healthcare requirements, financial situations, and coverage preferences
  • Explain health insurance plans, benefits, coverage options, premiums, deductibles, and eligibility requirements
  • Guide customers through enrollment and assist with required documentation
  • Provide accurate plan information and ensure compliance with established guidelines
  • Build trust and rapport through personalized assistance and solutions
  • Manage customer objections and concerns using a consultative sales approach
  • Follow up with leads and prospects to increase enrollment opportunities
  • Maintain accurate customer interaction, application, and follow-up records in CRM systems
  • Meet individual and team sales goals, quality standards, and performance metrics
  • Stay updated on insurance products, market changes, and company procedures
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of customer personal information

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in sales, customer service, call center, BPO, or insurance-related roles
  • Previous experience selling health insurance, Medicare, ACA plans, or other insurance products is highly preferred
  • Experience working with U.S. customers is a plus
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
  • Sales-oriented mindset with ability to close opportunities
  • Customer-focused approach with empathy and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle objections and explain complex information simply
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under performance goals and KPIs
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and digital tools
  • Advanced English level (B2/C1 preferred)
  • Strong reading comprehension for insurance documentation and customer information
  • Active U.S. Health Insurance License depending on state requirements is a preferred qualification
  • Experience with ACA Marketplace, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, or private health insurance products is preferred
  • Familiarity with U.S. healthcare terminology and enrollment processes is preferred
