Job Description
HIV Therapeutic Specialist promoting injectable and infused HIV treatments across a New Jersey/DC territory. Developing sales strategies, managing healthcare accounts, and driving territory performance for EVERSANA.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and related business results
- Identify and prioritize key customers, healthcare providers, and institutions to maximize product sales and market penetration
- Assess and analyze sales performance, identify improvement areas, and implement corrective measures
- Serve as the primary driver for the sales function with customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners on sales strategies, promotional activities, and tactics
- Monitor market trends and customer feedback to refine sales strategies
- Manage the territory expense budget efficiently and responsibly
- Maintain detailed records of expenses, sales activities, customer interactions, and other relevant data
- Stay current on HIV treatment advancements, clinical data, and scientific literature
- Adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Maintain ethical conduct and professionalism in customer and healthcare professional interactions
- Develop and manage an assigned territory promoting an injectable and infused HIV treatment product
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a healthcare-related field
- 3+ years’ experience in HIV Sales or infectious disease, Hepatology, Cardiovascular, or diabetes sales
- Documented history of sales success
- Strong customer orientation
- Proven experience building, maintaining, and leveraging relationships
- Advanced Managed Care Organization/Accountable Care Organizations/Patient-Centered skills
- Ability to travel overnight
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to assigned healthcare accounts
- Ability and willingness to conduct field travel 5 days a week and travel to sales meetings, client sites, and conferences, including overnight travel
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to set goals and deliver agreed objectives under tight timelines
- Ability to prioritize, generate ideas, find solutions, work alone and in a team
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to assemble and lead cross-functional teams
- Strong knowledge of specialty injectables and infusion reimbursement preferred
