Job Description
Remote RN providing after-hours telephone triage for hospice patients and families at IntellaTriage. Assessing conditions, coordinating care, and documenting urgent interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide telephone triage for hospice patients and families
- Assess patient conditions and determine appropriate next steps
- Collaborate with on-call teams to coordinate care and resources
- Accurately document communications and interventions
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor while handling urgent calls
- Provide after-hours support and coordinate timely interventions for hospice patients receiving services
Requirements:
- Active multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care strongly preferred
- Comfortable with technology and electronic medical records (EMR) for call documentation
- Ability to type documentation and notes in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle stress and multitask while receiving at least 5 calls per hour on weekdays and up to 8 calls per hour on weekends
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Consistent attendance and active communication during scheduled shifts
- Reliable internet connectivity during all scheduled shifts
Benefits:
- Base pay of $25 per hour, with multiple opportunities to increase the hourly rate up to $28 per hour within the first 6 months of hire
- $2 shift differential for overnights
- $2 shift differential for weekends (Friday evening, Saturday & Sunday)
- 3 weeks of paid remote training
- Accumulation of PTO based on hours worked
