Job Description

SAP PP Consultant ensuring production-system stability and process optimization. Supporting international projects for Ottobock’s prosthetics, neuro-orthotics, and exoskeleton solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure stable operation and continuous improvement of SAP production and planning systems
  • Work closely with business units, key users and international stakeholders
  • Analyze requirements and provide support for technical issues
  • Drive optimization of business processes
  • Contribute expertise to international projects, rollouts and system improvements
  • Help shape the further development of the global application landscape
  • Manage allocation of internal and external resources for projects and applications
  • Design, implement and roll out BPM solutions and approaches using industry-standard frameworks
  • Support business process improvement, process reengineering and process design
  • Operate, administer and maintain IT applications
  • Assume subproject leadership roles in larger projects
  • Ensure high-quality operational performance of SAP PP, SAP topMES and Exos/BCOMM applications
  • Analyze applications and processes, identify risks, error scenarios and optimization opportunities, and develop improvement measures

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed degree or comparable qualification with several years of professional experience in the SAP environment
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP PP
  • Ideally, experience with SAP MES
  • Understanding of system integrations, interfaces and cross-functional business processes
  • Structured, analytical and quality-oriented approach to work
  • Strong organizational skills
  • High level of initiative
  • Willingness to adapt to change
  • Enjoyment of collaborating with diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills in German (C1) and English
  • Ability to present yourself confidently in an international setting
