Job Description
International Tax Manager supporting AppLovin’s global advertising technology tax function. Managing U.S. international tax compliance, provision, planning, and technology-enabled process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare U.S. international tax workpapers, including GILTI, FDII, FTC, and BEAT
- Work on foreign tax provision and Pillar 2 workpapers
- Coordinate Pillar 2 compliance with external providers
- Help manage global tax compliance, including reviewing foreign statutory financials and foreign income tax returns
- Support international tax planning projects, including tax models for cross-border transactions, entity structuring, and new business initiatives
- Collaborate with tax, accounting, finance, and other business stakeholders to gather and analyze information
- Monitor U.S. and foreign tax legislative developments and communicate potential impacts and recommendations
- Use tax technology and data tools to automate and streamline tax processes
- Support ad hoc projects and special assignments, including tax audit notices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or MST preferred
- 6+ years of corporate tax experience with significant focus on U.S. international tax compliance and provision or federal tax matters with international exposure
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace
- Experience working with NetSuite or other ERP systems
- Interest in working in a fast-paced, high-growth technology or multinational environment
- Direct U.S. international tax experience or strong federal tax experience with meaningful international tax exposure
